This course prepares learners to manage a major incident requiring a number of divisional officers who report to the commander. Learners demonstrate how to supervise multi-unit operations, and deploy assigned resources in the context of multi-unit incidents including hazardous materials, high rise and big box incidents.

This is one course in the Â黨¾«Æ·Fire Officer program intended to meet the NFPA 1021 Standardprogressing through the second level of Fire Officer Qualification, Fire Officer II (supervisory/managerial). The following areas of responsibility will be covered: human resource management, community and government relations, administration, inspection and investigation, emergency service delivery and health and safety.
