It’s easy to apply to our programs. Start by exploring programs that are eligible for a study permit to come to Canada. Then follow these steps to complete your application and get ready to study in Canada.
Steps to Apply
- Review the admissions requirements for the program you are applying for and the English Proficiency requirements for JIBC. Check the application deadline for your program.
- Submit an and pay the $150 application fee.
- Send proof of English proficiency, relevant transcripts, and any other supporting documents to the Â黨¾«Æ·Office of International Affairs. The Admissions Office will provide you with the full list of documents required.
- Your complete application will be reviewed and you will be sent an Offer of Admission Letter upon meeting all admission requirements.
- Pay the non-refundable commitment deposit by the stated deadline to reserve your seat in the program.
- Receive the ‘Letter of Acceptance (LOA)’, ‘Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL)’, and Tuition Payment Receipt.
Get Ready to Arrive in Canada
- As soon as you have your LOA and PAL, apply for your Canadian Study Permit. Depending on your country of origin, it can take several weeks to a few months to get a study permit.
- Prepare for travel to Vancouver, Canada and arrange where you will live during your studies.
- New international students will automatically be enrolled with Guard.me for a temporary medical insurance plan.
